Quite often antivirus scanner locate a virus, quarantine it than you find that the next day it's back again. What happened is that windows have included the viruses into the system restore point when it creates one. The folder that contains the restore point information is the "System volume information" folder this is a protected folder.
You may be able to see the folder at all. There are two methods of ridding yourself of the virus if the scanner is incapable. Both require you to be logged on as an administrator.
First method:
The first method is to remove all the restore points. Unless you are 100% sure you will never need to restore to a previous point then by all means do it.
1. Right click on my computer then click on system restore tab. Place a check mark alongside "Turnoff system restore on all drives" click Ok and close the dialog boxes.
2. Run your antivirus scanner again to make sure the virus is gone. You can choose to perform the task you can do only in the folder where virus is detected. In this case “System Volume information” Folder.
3. Once your are happy return to System Restore tab and uncheck the mark while you are there highlighted the drives, click Settings and slide the slider to the left to around 2%. This will release a significant amount of hard drive space. Windows default setting is to reserve 12% and on a 150 gig drive that can total 18 gigabytes. 2% will still give you enough room for an ample number of restore points. Click OK and close the dialog boxes.
4. Next, Create a new restore point. With any name you want.

When i installed AVG Free last time it removed few virus including "copy.exe". so whenever i go to "My Computer" (win key + E) and double click on any hard drive then i find an error stating that (Windows cannot find "Copy.exe").
Solution:
Well the solution for this "copy.exe" conundrum is to get rid of a file called autorun.inf in each of the infected hard drives. here's the solution for the problem......
Make sure you or the virus scanner is run through the infected hard drives/flash drives. to make sure the virus files is gone.
Now, some forums said you could just select "Show Hidden Files" from the option and this would enable you to see "autorun.inf" file.
Also, some entries in the "autorun.inf"may be legitimate. so to check the file (even when you can't see the file) do this: Type in the infected hard drive label followed by autorun.inf for example f:\autorun.inf
This will load autorun.inf file in notepad.if the only entry is that incriminating copy.exe then this is what i did. i tried to overwrite the file with the same name autorun.inf. that din't work because autorun file was readonly. so i saved that blank file on the desktop and simply cut it and pasted it into the drive, then selecting the overwrite option. that should stop that annoying windows cannot find "copy.exe" message every time you double click into a drive. this will solve the problem!

Solution :
- Make sure that monitor is turned on. try pressing the power button on the monster again.
- check to see if it is in the sleep mode. wiggle the mouse around or press the enter key.
- if the green light is not on in front, check the power cord connecting the monitor into the outlet
- if green light is on check the brightness level by using the bottoms in the monitor.
- check the cable connection from the computer to the monitor. and also check the connections in the other equipments connected to the computer for example TV
- if you still have a problem, call your help desk.

- Look in the back of the computer and push th cables in very gently. Sometimes it helps to actually unplug them from the computer and then re plug. you could short out the motherboard by plugging in some cables while your system is running. shut down the machine before re plugging your mouse, keyboard and other cables.
- if you have TV link or other hardware connected to the computer, check those cable connections also.
- look at the back of the monitor and gently push the cable.
- check your power strip connection. is it unplugged in the wall? is the power indicator power lit?
- if these doesn't work then call your help desk.
